Modern December Wedding // Christmas Tree Farm Styled Shoot
Happy winter solstice! It’s officially winter and we are feeling that Christmas spirit. The cold weather is seriously helping too, did y’all see how cold the forecast is for Christmas day? I’m so into it! Last year was about 80 degrees and Christmas morning with iced tea and tank tops was was just not the vibe I was going for. This year I have big plans for some matching footie pajamas to keep us warm, sorry fam! What are some of your Christmas morning favorites?
In honor of the shortest day of the year, we’re throwing back this Thursday with a stunner of a winter wedding! There are so many ways to have a winter wedding-winter whites, greens and reds, blacks and golds. Often overlooked, I think December is a very romantic and elegant month for a wedding. Think about it, it’s everyone’s favorite time to celebrate and be festive–just the kind of energy you want at your wedding.
Today’s styled shoot captures that romantic December magic with perfection! What better venue for this cozy shoot than the Kadee Christmas Tree Farm in Greenville, TX. While keeping the traditional Christmas combo of red and green, we modernized the look with whites, golds and a tablescape to wow. This gorgeous shoot was planned and designed by the ever talented Events by Jade who conceptualized this amazing scene, which quite honestly looks like a wedding we’d love to attend IRL. Rachel Elaine Photography perfectly captured the true beauty of this couple, the space and the elegance that is a December wedding. On to the bride, how much do you love this look? That dress, those smokey eyes and the most romantic tousled curls- mad props to Morgan Taylor Perkins, BA Beauty and De Ma Fille Bridal for providing that dream gown.
We kept the bridal bouquet festive yet wild to match the outdoorsy elegance of this shoot. Shades of reds and greens with a pop of evergreen conifer to stick with our Christmas theme all wrapped up in the ever festive velvet ribbon. This is a shoot we will always remember and re-visit every holiday season. We are so proud to be a part of this beauty and honored to have been featured on Brides of North Texas blog.
Now fill your cup with cocoa, put your feet up and enjoy these gorgeous photos (then you can carry on with last minute shopping and gift wrapping madness).
