Sweet Summer Wedding // White Sparrow Barn // Alicia + Rob
Happy Hump Day (AKA Wedding Wednesday)! Have we got a sweet treat for you 🙂
Alicia was referred to me by her brother-in-law Zach Ashcroft,  a talented photographer I had the pleasure of working with several years ago. I immediately was obsessed with Alicia’s wedding inspiration of soft peaches, whites, pinks and of course I can never turn down a wedding at the gorgeous White Sparrow Barn. Alicia hired Nancy Ray Photography and I must admit I squealed when I heard I would be working with her team. She is an incredible + joyful photographer from North Carolina, and I may just have a bit of a girl crush on her!
I’ve said it before and it’s the truth- I am the luckiest florist around because all my brides have been super sweet and enjoyable to work with. Alicia was no different, truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, her kindness + joy was written all over the details of the wedding. From the words of the pastor during the ceremony, to the songs that were sung and the Bible verses that were read; sweetness played a major role in that day.  I definitely walked away a better woman ready to run home and love on my husband, the romance was contagious. Weddings can do that to us right, make us fall in love with our spouses all over again? I really do love wedding ceremonies just as much as the fun beautiful celebration afterwards and Alicia + Rob’s did not disappoint.
Alicia’s wedding flowers were sweet + simple just like her. She wanted bouquets of peach garden roses, blush spray roses, queen Anne’s lace, chamomile and eucalyptus that would pop against the peach bridesmaids dresses. Centerpieces were a mix of candles, floral arrangements + bridesmaids bouquets and it all made for just a lovely summer wedding!
And now without further ado, I am proud to present the lovely photos of Ms. Nancy Ray. I dare yall to not develop a girl crush too 🙂
