Soft and Natural Wedding // Brake and Clutch // Emma + Jeff

Hi friends! How are we doing as we close out week 9 of quarantine? What are we all watching? Reading? Baking? Organizing?

Today we’ve got a beauty to share from last June at one of our all time fav venues, Brake and Clutch in Deep Ellum. Venues, remember those? Places you went to that were not your house and also not the grocery store, also people were typically there. It was very exciting stuff!

Our sweet bride, Emma, had a great vision and we love the look of the softness of the dusty blues and white against the darkness and brick of the venue. Emma loves anemones, and honestly who doesn’t! So we made sure to include those black and white beauties in a lot of the floral you see. We also worked with a lot of wild smilax greenery, from the head table runner, to the chandeliers to the wooden backdrop for pics! When there is an opportunity to drape something in greenery, we take it!

Ok, can we talk about that denim jacket! Love a little touch of uniqueness and that jacket served as the cutest chair holder for the bride until she got to make her exit as the new MRS. HOUSER We got to work with planner, Jessi, who is now the owner of Balloon Therapy which is always the best experience. We’re also so obsessed with the raw emotion Natalie Barrett captured in these stunning photos.

All in all this wedding was a dream and it’s truly giving us all the feels as we remember what it felt like to design flowers for our brides! We miss you all!!
