Colorful Summer Wedding Photo Shoot // BRIK // Fort Worth

In the wise words of DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince…Summer, Summer, Summertime. Time to sit back and unwind! Happy Summer Solstice my flower friends! It’s the season for bright colors, crisp whites, cold drinks and lots of pool time!

This gorgeous photo shoot we did is the epitome of summer if you ask me. What says crisp whites more than that gown and bright colors more than these blooms? We worked with Jessica Gold Photography and Shannon Schultz Events to create this whimsical yet preppy scene. To quote Jessica, “pink was used as a neutral”, I’m sorry but no better words have ever been spoken! Those pink candles, poppy chairs and giant coral peonies take me right into summer with a giant smile! Can we talk about that dress? The Decklyn by Hayley Page, GIMME!!

We’re starting to slow down a little over here and just have a few weddings and events planned this summer. The rest of our time will be spent catching up with friends and family. I’m looking forward to relaxing, sleeping in and playing in the garden with my son. His favorite pastimes are splashing in the water and looking for bugs which makes this earth mama very proud. We’ve got a couple fun vacays planned and I can’t wait to make memories with our little man.
