I Do, Take two// Ashley and Christian // Marie Gabrielle//Chapel at Ana Villa
Ashley and Christian celebrated in matrimony not once but twice in 2020. Their original wedding day was March 21, 2020 just before the Coronavirus lockdowns and stay-at- home orders began. Not even a global pandemic could stop this smitten pair as they still married on their original wedding day with a small intimate family ceremony. We were so joyful that the lovely couple decided to celebrate again on July 25th, for their 4 month renewal!
The start of the wedding weekend had gotten under way at the Marie Gabrielle, an enchanting garden oasis. The venue offers nature and architecture; lush gardens, river birch trees, and european influenced design. A groom fav was the dark green colored magnolia leaves which were a nod to his southern Louisiana heritage as well as the agate gemstones for table numbers. The rehearsal dinner was quite the summer soiree! Lets talk about those details! So light and delicate. The table was covered in creamy hydrangeas to complement the dusty blue textiles. The outdoor lighting gave a magical ambiance. What a night complete with dancing under the stars!
The wedding day was beautiful with stunning and soft summer blooms all around. So, where to begin? Let’s start with the ceremony at the chapel at Ana Villa… the couple shared their vows once again in front of the floral cross, lush arrangements and striking glass windows. The florals were a soft pastel palette of hydrangeas, garden roses, and delphinium. The grand ballroom was whimsical, a true garden lovers dream. The trimmed staircase made for a notable entrance, ideal for our lavish bride and groom. Love and hospitality was shared all night long. We loved getting to celebrate their Re-Do I Do!
