Friday Favorites // Wedding Cake Florals

Happy Friday, friends! This Friday is an especially happy one for me because The Bevy has officially moved offices and we re-open tonight! For those of you who don’t know, The Bevy is a wedding and event design studio where I office with 4 other fabulous wedding professionals. We’ve just moved to a much bigger space and the best part is I now have my office and my warehouse all under one roof. I am so excited to be able to meet with my brides and then take them straight to my warehouse to show them all my florals. Stay tuned for a post about the new space AND awesome new classes I’ll be hosting there.

Now on to one my favorite topics-Cake! I have never met a cake I didn’t like and wedding cake is always at the top of my list. When a bride lets us step in and floralize (is that a word?) a cake, I get so excited! It’s such a great way to be able to tie in the dessert table to the rest of the reception tables, plus I just love how it looks. Sometimes we decorate the actual cake and other times we just add florals around the cake table. One of my favorite things we’ve done is repurpose the ceremony arch at the dessert table to add that wow factor to the reception space.

So today we’re paying tribute to the sweetest part of the wedding, literally, by sharing a handful of our favorite cakes. Enjoy these beauties and I apologize if these photos trigger your sweet tooth, feel free to treat yo self!
