Classic Outdoor 4th of July BBQ

Happy 4th of July week! Whether you’re at the lake, pool, beach or staying cool inside, today is the day to celebrate with friends and family. This has always been one of my favorite holidays, I think because it lasts all day and it truly is just about having fun and celebrating our wonderful country. NO last minute gift shopping or staying up all night cooking food (don’t get me wrong, I love both of those holidays too) but 4th of July is about staying in your bathing suit all day and then rocking that red, white and blue for the fireworks. Do you have any fun 4th of July traditions?

This year we’re heading out of town to spend the week with some friends by the lake. I can’t wait to spend time with my boys and soak up some fun in the sun. Last year I worked with some of my besties to throw a super kid-friendly yet still enjoyable for adults outdoor bbq for the 4th! I just love this color pallette and I definitely had fun creating an arrangement for these gorgeous table cloths! We went with a lush and bold centerpiece of red ranunculus, bouvardia, roses, spray roses, scabiosa and greenery we let those linens handle the blue and white!

There’s something to be said about a good old classic outdoor bbq with burgers and hotdogs! Head over to the h is for blog for a full write up on this little get together and some serious menu inspo for whatever shindig you might be throwing this week. Happy 4th of July!!!
