Happy Cinco de Mayo! Obviously we all love celebrating this holiday with tacos, margaritas and mariachi bands. But when I think of Cinco de Mayo I think of cacti, bright colored blooms and vibrant textiles, I can’t help it- it’s the way my floral brain works.
The photo shoot I’m featuring today is an oldie but a goodie! We shot this last spring for MyWedding.com magazine and that bouquet will always be one of my absolute favs! We got to create this amazing cacti brunch wedding with some of my fav gals in the biz. Working with Charla Storey Photography is always a good time and she seriously knows how to capture the beauty of an event. Not to mention, I am obsessed with the way that Jen Rios styled this brunch, so in love with that ceremony background! I also just LOVE the idea of a brunch wedding and how adorable are those pancake stacks?
Although this is more of a boho chic vibe, the cacti and colors always reminds me of Mexico. So, today we’re celebrating this glorious holiday by sharing this beauty of a brunch wedding fiesta with you! How are you celebrating today?
