WE’RE BACK! You may have noticed that we took a little break from blogging last year to focus on all our events, including one of our very own’s wedding day (more on that coming soon)! Not to mention a tiny new addition to our R Love Floral team, Raquel and her husband welcomed baby boy, Hunter Steele Harris, last year and could not be more smitten!

We thought we’d feature Kate + Robbie’s gorgeous, lake front beauty to celebrate our re-entry to the blogosphere. Who doesn’t love a winter wedding? Those deep jewel tones, loose greenery, hurricane candles against a wintery backdrop-SWOON!

It was such a joy working with Kate and her mother as we planned their beautiful White Rock Lake Wedding at Winfrey Point.  It’s clear to see that Kate is a classic beauty but she’s also incredibly sweet and super fun, definitely one of those brides we miss working with!

Kate + Robbie planned for a lakeside wedding with a natural and romantic feel. When Kate told us that she envisioned the floral filled with lots of loose greenery and all shades of purple blooms, we were on her same page. It was so much fun designing a loose and wild bouquet filled with Eucalyptus and smilax greenery, lavender roses, fuchsia peonies, burgundy scabiosa, Queen Anne’s Lace and Purple Lisianthus  Although the ceremony was planned for outdoors, mother nature had another idea and we just love how the arch lived up to it’s beauty inside.
