Texas Barn Wedding // Oak Knoll Ranch // Jordyn + Arthur

Whoopsies! We fell off the blogosphere for a minute there but we’re back! Between all the weddings and events we had in May I also took a dream vacay to Kauai (recap of that coming soon on the blog), turned 30 AND moved offices. But we’re back and kicking off our warm weather June with this bright and beautiful Wednesday Wedding love!

Jordyn + Arthur were all about Texas for their summer barn wedding last May. They were living in Arizona when they got engaged and could not wait to get back to their home state to plan their wedding.  Jordyn loved sunflowers, wildflowers and anything rustic to compliment their barn wedding. Being the Texas girl that I am, Jordyn was speaking my language and I couldn’t wait to work on this Texas wedding!

We kept the bridal bouquet simple yet timeless, a hand tied bouquet of sunflowers while the girls carried a bright bouquet of sunflowers and wildflowers.  I love the pop of yellows against their navy and printed floral dresses (How much do we love those floral dresses, btw?!). Nothing says Texas barn wedding like a good mixture of these blooms!
Jordyn wanted centerpieces of babies breath and wildflowers in silver pails, we just love how they give us that good southern look with the mason jars too! As for the ceremony, this arbor is one of my favs, love the rustic look with the lush pops of vibrant florals.
We loved planning this wedding alongside Borrowed and Blue Occasions,  the photos from Dot + Anchor are just gorgeous, and that cake from Sugar Bee Sweets is not only beautiful but delish.  But can we talk about that venue?! There is no better red than the color of that barn at Oak Knoll Ranch, makes us proud to be from Texas 🙂
We hope you enjoy these photos from our favorite Texas themed barn wedding.
