Favorite Friday // Holiday Host Gift Guide // Godiva

It’s Friday….December 22nd…you know what that means? Christmas weekend is officially here!!!!!! This weekend should be filled with leisurely family time, holiday cocktail parties and admiring all your shopping wrapped perfectly under the tree. HAHAH is this anyone’s reality? My weekend will look more like driving from store to store with the rest of the world, arriving late to parties and frantically wrapping those last minute gifts before Santa arrives. But you know what? That’s part of the fun! Right?

My husband and I each come from very large families, so the Christmas festivities start today and they don’t end until Tuesday. Holy Christmas parties! I guess it’s the southern girl in me but I hate to show up to a party empty handed so I always like to bring a little something something for the hosts. I’m thinking for these parties I’ll stick with my trusty go to’s but with a little holiday twist, I thought I’d share my last minute holiday host gift guide with y’all today.

First, flowers! I love a good Poinsettia and luckily they’re easy to find this time a year.  Every host loves flowers and potted flowers are a hassle-free way to please. These actually come in variety of colors but the white and red are definitely the most popular. White matches with everything but red is most festive-either way your host will be thrilled! Just remember to keep these out of reach from all our 4-legged friends, these pretties will make your pup very sick.

Second, chocolate! Flowers and chocolate go together like peanut butter and jelly, cookies and milk, Santa and the reindeer…you get it! Bringing chocolate will never disappoint. Lately I’ve been on a real Godiva jag! Not only is their chocolate delish but it comes wrapped up in a pretty gold box and a bow. They also have so many options! Like these Murder on the Orient Express Limited edition chocolates your movie buff uncle will appreciate and you know grandma is going to love that big red bow.

Godiva and Poinsettias are going to be my go to this weekend so if I’m coming to your house this weekend, sorry for ruining the surprise.

I’m officially signing off until the new year! I hope you all enjoy a cozy, safe and festive holiday season with all your loved ones! XOXOXO
